30. XYLORYCTIDAE

1	Only one species *Metathrinca tsugensis*
	16.0-24.0mm. Alien, recorded from The Netherlands twice. Forewing whitish with some brownish markings, viz. a few longitudinal streaks and a subterminal transverse line. Hindwing white. The Xyloryctidae are not incorporated in the key for the families.
